Their Home on Wheels? The SRT-19
The caravan industry is full of choice, but ultimately we went with Snowy River Caravans because it just made the most sense for how we travel. We’ve travelled extensively in a rooftop tent for years, so upgrading to a caravan was the luxury we didn’t know we were missing.
We needed something that could handle long trips + rough and remote tracks and still feel like home, and that’s exactly what our Snowy does. The biggest thing for us would have to be the reliability, our Ute has never let us down in all our years of full-time travel and in the last year, neither has our Snowy, so they’re a lethal combo together.

What travel destinations would you always go back to?
We keep finding ourselves drawn back to the Northern Territory. There’s something about the wide open spaces, the red dirt and the raw, untouched feel of the place that just gets under your skin. The sense of remoteness out there is something you don’t find in many other places and we love to chase that feeling. And the WA coast, especially up north around Broome and Exmouth, is unreal. That combo of red cliffs, white sand and turquoise water never gets old. Broome has such a good vibe, it’s well described as ‘desert meets the ocean’. Exmouth is a favourite too, being able to snorkel straight off the beach on the Ningaloo coast is pretty hard to beat. They’re the kind of spots that stay with you long after you’ve left.

Why did you choose full-time travel?
For us, it’s about living life on our own terms and outside of the box. Jess is a cancer survivor and that kind of thing really puts life into perspective. We both realise how short and precious time is and that we don’t want to waste a second of it stuck in the 9-5 grind chasing someone else’s version of success. Josh has been wheeling around Australia for over a decade in a rooftop tent and while that was an epic chapter, we were ready for a bit more comfort. We’re both pretty patriotic, we love this country, and we reckon there’s so much to see and experience right here in our own backyard. Before we ever jump on a plane to go overseas together, we want to explore as much of Australia as we can.

Why are you documenting your travels?
We love connecting with like-minded people and showing that this lifestyle is possible, whether you’re travelling full-time, doing weekend trips or just starting to dream about it - no matter if you're in your 20's, a young family or retired. If our story can give someone else the confidence to hit the road or try something new, then that’s a win in our books. You only get one go at this thing called life so we say take the chance and hit the road!
