Meet Tim, Justine; a husband-and-wife team, parents, educators, and content creators who believe travel is one of the greatest classrooms in the world. They began travelling with their son Riley and their two Australian Kelpies as a way to slow down and reconnect as a family, but it quickly became something more. It’s now how we explore, create, serve, and build meaningful memories together.
Their Home on Wheels? The SRH-16F
The SRH-16F was the perfect fit for our season of life. We wanted something that felt refined yet practical — compact enough to tow comfortably with our GWM Cannon XSR, but spacious enough to live, work, and create from. The layout of the 16F gives us functionality without compromise. It feels thoughtfully designed, with every inch purposeful.
Where are your favourite places to travel?
We are constantly drawn to the Australian coastline. There’s something deeply restorative about waking up to the sound of waves and stepping outside to salty air and sunrise light. South-East Queensland has become a regular return point for us — places like Noosa, Yeppoon, and quiet beachside caravan parks where life slows down. We also love national parks where the bush meets the sea. The places we always return to aren’t just beautiful; they’re peaceful.
Do you have any travel tips or must-haves?
Slow down and avoid trying to see everything — staying longer in fewer places often creates a better travel experience. Chase the light as much as the location, because a campsite can feel completely different at sunrise. Make your van feel like home with small comforts like good coffee gear, comfortable bedding, and soft lighting, and keep your plans flexible to allow for spontaneous detours that often become the highlights.
What kind of travellers are you?
We’re a mix of coastal cruisers and national park explorers with a growing appreciation for off-grid capability. We love quiet country towns, beachside stays, scenic bushland camps, national park walks, and early mornings and golden-hour sunsets. We aren’t rushed travellers. We prefer to stay longer, experience deeper, and truly settle into a place rather than ticking boxes.
